Maria Racadio, MSW, LISW

I am a licensed independent social worker in the state of Ohio. My undergraduate experience is an eclectic blend of psychology, philosophy, social justice, and criminology. I obtained my masters degree in social work from the University of Cincinnati. My work experience spans from school based therapy to hospital social work, giving me a unique insight into the larger systems with which clients interact. Stemming from my own experience living with ADHD, I have a passion for working with neurodivergent clients, particularly those who are twice-exceptional. I have completed focused training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, and best practices for working with neurodivergent clients. My approach to therapy is warm but clinical, balancing validation and self-acceptance with problem-solving and interventions targeted for change.
